The agreement provides for the clubs to work together on the pitch as well as in the areas of the sports science, technical research, training and scouting. The clubs have also agreed to hold coaching courses in St. Petersburg and the Dubai, and to help each other develop young footballers and to play friendlies together.
The cooperation agreement is valid for two years and can be extended at the agreement of both parties.
Al Wasl FC are based in Dubai and are currently top of the UAE Pro-League. They are seven times league champions and two time Cup winners.
