Andrey Mostovoy was born on 5 November 1997 in Omsk and began his career at Lokomotiv Moscow. He went on to play for PFL side Dolgoprudny and later Khimki.

In the winter of 2019, he joined the blue-white-sky blues and has played 13 matches for Zenit-2, scoring 5 goals and making 2 assists. At this summer's Gazprom Training Camp he trained with the Zenit first team.
