Maksim Glushenkov is a Zenit player!
Zenit and Lokomotiv have reached an agreement on the transfer of the attacking midfielder to St. Petersburg. The player has signed a four-year deal with the option of a further year.
Glushenkov moved to Spartak Moscow in January 2019 where he made his RPL debut in March 2019 against Zenit. Loan spells at Krylia Sovetov and Khimki followed, before a permanent moves ro Samara and then to Locomotiv Moscow in December 2022, Glushenkov transferred to Lokomotiv Moscow. The following year he recorded 16 assists, equaling Hulk's record for most assists in a single season.
Glushenkov has represented Russia at various youth levels and has one full international cap to his name.
