What are you hopes and aims for this move to Zenit, to become a league champion? There was a tough battle between Krasnodar and Zenit for the title.
I came with the idea to improve all aspects of my game and of course, to win trophies with this club, and yes, to become a champion. As for Krasnodar, I remember everything. There was the battle for the tile until the last game of the season, but Zenit won the title.
What are your expectations for the season? How easy was it to accept the offer from Zenit?
The decision was not easy, at first I thought about it because I wanted to challenge myself to improve and try something different. I am a graduate of the Krasnodar academy and spent my entire career and childhood there. I want to thank the club for raising me and giving me the opportunity to play for the first team.
Where on the pitch can you play comfortably?
I believe my best position is as a right-back, that’s know, but I can also play as a left and right winger. I started as a forward, when I played at Chita I was a centre forward, and when I came to the Krasnodar Academy, I began to play as a left winger, but I could also play on the right, so I can play in these four positions.
