Installation of the main, most difficult part of the track was completed today at Petrovsky Stadium. Contractors will now move on to laying the surface behind the goals, where there is space for various track and field events such as long-jump, high-jump, triple-jump and pole-vault, as well as sectors for javelin and shot-put throwing. Sectors for discus and hammer-throwing are available at the Small Arena of Petrovsky Stadium.
Furthermore, work continues at improving the infrastructure of Petrovsky Stadium: repairing and painting the cement ramp, repairing and facing the tiled stairs, replacing the systems of cold and hot water supply, boiler repairs, press center decoration, and improving the territory around the Small Arena.
