A strike? It won`t stop us

Despite the nation-wide protest planned in Greece for Wednesday and Thursday, Zenit will have no less than 500 fans at its match in Athens on Thursday.

A total of 406 tickets were sold at the Petrovsky Stadium box office for Zenit`s last match in 2010 against AEK. This means that sector 22 of the Olympic Stadium in Athens will be at least half full. Furthermore, all of Zenit`s European fan clubs are planning to support our team, as well as the team`s many supporters who live in Greece itself. For example, after Tuesday`s practice there was a great number of fans waiting for autographs from Zenit players outside the team`s hotel.

Zenit fans from Europe can buy tickets on the day of the match after five o`clock in the box office of Olympic Stadium. FC Zenit is also paying attention to the fact that due to the nation-wide strike on Wednesday and Thursday in Greece, there may be serious difficulties traveling around Athens. The club asks fans to plan ahead of time how to get to the stadium, and reminds fans that a meeting place for Zenit fans has been chosen. We`re stronger together!
