Luciano Spalletti invited the following players to Zenit’s second pre-season practice session in Spain:
Goalkeepers: Vyacheslav Malafeev, Yury Zhevnov, Andrey Zaitsev;
Defenders: Alexander Anyukov, Bruno Alves, Fernando Meira, Nicolas Lombaerts, Tomas Hubocan, Aleksandar Lukovic;
Halfbacks: Miguel Danny, Roman Shirokov, Konstantin Zyryanov, Viktor Fayzulin, Szabolcs Huszti, Sergey Semak, Igor Denisov, Vladimir Bystrov, Alexey Ionov;
Forwards: Danko Lazovic, Alexander Bukharov, Alexander Kerzhakov, Evgeny Starikov.
Dmitry Borodin didn’t go with the team by decision of the coaching staff, while Evgeny Starikov, as was planned earlier, signed a new contract with Zenit for 2.5 years.
