The team mascot appeared on the body of the bus during the September break for the national teams courtesy of a St. Petersburg factory. Zenit’s arrow adorns the right and the left upper sides on the latest update of the club bus.
The design began with the goal of depicting the most important symbols of Zenit and in so doing show the strength and confident calm of the lion, which is itself demonstrative of the club’s values.
The club symbol, the blue-white-sky blue lion, is nearly omnipresent at Zenit where it already accompanies both fans and players on the collars of their jerseys, on club souvenirs, or at every match at Petrovsky.
The bus will be moving the players back and forth from the training facility and the hotel Corinthia Nevsky Palace, as well as between the airport and stadium.
The first planned trip is for September 13th when Zenit comes to the stadium 90 minutes before their matchup against Moscow’s Dynamo. Kickoff for that match is at 18:30.
