Zenit score a friendly win over Sochi
The two teams met at the Smena Stadium at the Gazprom Academy on Sunday 8 September.
Alexei Sutormin scored the opening goal on 3 minutes, the forward's deft touch flying over the 'keeper following a pass from Matias Kranevitter.
Maxim Bachinskyi doubled the lead on 22 minutes, scoring a scrappy goal the Sochi 'keeper wouldn't have been pleased with.
The away side pulled one back before the break from Burmistrov's long-range strike, and the side's went in 2-1 at half-time.
No more goals followed in a slower second half, with Kerzhakov, Vorobyev, Ivanov, Zhilov and Kaplenko all making an appearance in the final 45.
After the friendly win, Zenit's next match is the RPL match against Arsenal Tula at the Gazprom Academy on 13 September.
