Aleksandr Vasyutin leaves Zenit

Aleksandr Vasyutin was born on 4 March 1995 in St. Petersburg and made his way through the Gazprom Academy, Vasyutin made his Zenit U21 debut in May 2013. 

The goalkeeper has had three spells in Scandinavia, spending a year and a half on loan with FC Lahti in Finland, where he won goalkeeper of the season. He made a permanent moved to Sarpsborg 08 in Norway in 2018 where he represented the club 37 times including in the UEFA Europa League. Aleksandr then returned to Zenit in 2019 and played three times for the first team. His next loan move then followed, this time to Sweden’s Djurgardens, where he took part in 19 matches.

In November 2022, Vasyutin returned to Zenit and added two more Russian league titles to his collection. In total, he played 12 matches for Zenit, winning six trophies while in St. Petersburg.
