Stanislav Kritsyuk was born on 1 December 1990 in Togliatti and began learning his trade at the Yuri Konoplev Football Academy. He made his professional debut at FC Akademiya Dimitrovgrad in 2008 in and went on to play for FC Togliatti and Akademiya Tolyatti.
In 2013 he moved to Portugal for Braga where he played for their second team and also had a loan spell with Rio Ave. He made his debut for the Braga first team in August 2014 and played a total of 39 matches for the Portuguese club.
In January 2016 he returned to Russia to join Krasnodar, initially on loan and later with a permanent switch, Stanislav went on to play 72 matches for Krasnodar in four years.
He returned to Portugal in 2020 with Belenenses SAD and in June 2021 he joined Gil Vicente before signing for Zenit in September 2021.
Kritsyuk is a Russian international having won two caps for his country in friendlies against Lithuania (March 2016) and Qatar (November 2016).
